Oh Shut It

Apparently Obama doesn't love America now because he wasn't wearing his pin. Whatever. Please just do not let Hilary get into the White House. I wish Bill could run again.

I really had a great weekend. I worked both days but I was in Copy and Print so it was okay. Sunday we had a story meeting but I sat with Kris and Jordan and Frosh and we just whispered about everyone. Afterwards I went over to Tim's and we watched Dexter - I love that show. I wish Tim and I got to hang out more often, but that's not possible right now. Not because of our schedules or anything specifically, just because of other stuff. Bullshit stuff.

Parent/Teacher conferences are tomorrow. Yay.

Saturday was AMAZING. I got to see ELTON JOHN at the Qwest Center. He was phenomenal. He started right at eight, and played until 10:45. I teared up when he sang "Tiny Dancer". I was actually breathing the same air as Elton John. It was surreal. Pictures are on Facebook.

In other concert news, Katie and I are going to see...dun dun dun....Fall Out Boy, Plain White T's and Gym Class Heroes. I'm just stoked for Pete Wentz. So hott.

I've been to a lot of concerts this year. First Tom and I saw Justin, then Shelly and I saw The Killers, then Aaron and I saw Elton, and now FOB and Company. I guess I'm just that lucky. And I got kick-ass pictures at all of them so far. I just hide my camera in the bottom of my purse, put a few pads and tampons in there, and make sure I go through the line that's being checked by a young guy. He will not even look twice once he sees those, and my camera has been safe so far. Cross your fingers that my luck holds for FOB. I MUST have pictures of Pete Wentz, the new love of my life. After Justin of course. And Brandon Flowers.

It's a good tip but I don't want it to get out so don't let too many people in on my little secret. It's amazing how many guys are afraid of those still. It makes me giggle.
